PAISOL 21
A paraffin inhibitor used to prevent and remove blockages caused by paraffin, colloid and asphaltene deposits in production wells and crude oil gathering pipelines. With a rapid paraffin-dissolving rate, it acts as an effective wax crystal modifier that enhances crude oil flow and delays wax precipitation. By reducing flow resistance and mechanical load, PAISOL 21 helps improve pump efficiency, stabilize production and extend maintenance intervals – ensuring smoother and more reliable oilfield operations.
Application
- Provides strong anti-paraffin and paraffin-melting properties in both preventive and corrective paraffin control
- Oil well paraffin removal: o Add 100 – 150 mg/L into the casing annulus, dose adjusted according to well production throughput o Stop pumping, vent, inject into the tubing and soak for 2 – 6 hours before resume pumping o Injection from the casing head effectively removes paraffin near the borehole and within the tubing
- Pipeline paraffin removal: o Inject approximately 100 mg/L at the gathering pump inlet, dose adjusted according to pipeline length and paraffin precipitation volume o Use a plunger pump or cement truck to introduce the paraffin remover, soak for 2 – 8 hours before flushing through o For high-paraffin-content wells, use a paraffin-prevention cylinder or controller
