TAC RIC

A rheological modifier specifically formulated for oil-based drilling fluids. It can effectively improve the detritus carrying and suspension properties as well as increase the shear rate, shear thinning, viscosity and thixotropy properties of drilling fluids, without increasing the solid phase content of the system. By increasing the yield point and gel strength, TAC RIC greatly improves the drill-cuttings suspension capabilities and hole- cleaning capabilities of the drilling fluid, without affecting the apparent viscosity and circulation pump pressure.

Application

• Oil-soluble with good environmental acceptability, widely used in diesel-, white oil- and synthetic-based drilling fluid systems
  
• Particularly useful for rheology control in drilling systems with high density and high solid content
