Drilling Fluids
Drilling fluids are critical to wellbore stability and operational safety. They help control subsurface pressure, transport drill cuttings to the surface, cool and lubricate the drill bit, and maintain the integrity of the wellbore. Our tailored additives ensure optimal fluid performance for diverse drilling environments.

Filtration Control Agents
Minimize fluid loss to the formation, reduce filter cake permeability, and help maintain borehole integrity during drilling.
EPISOL
A fluid loss agent for oil-based drilling systems. This product can effectively control the fluid loss of oil-based drilling fluids, especially at high temperature and pressure. EPISOL can also increase drilling fluid blocking and lubricating performance, improve wellbore stability. EPISOL can be used in diesel-based, white oil-based, and synthetic-based drilling fluids at the same time and is less affected by different types of surfactants in the system.
FILREO 12
An environmentally friendly fluid loss agent that is widely used in various types of oil-based drilling fluid systems. It has superior resistance to high temperatures and efficiency in filtrate loss reduction. FILREO 12 is gaining foothold over conventional asphalt-based filtrate reducers due to the latter’s tendency to pollute the environment.
FILREW 23
A high-temperature and salt-resistant filtration loss reducer, particularly effective in water-based systems. It is specially designed through a preferential selection of thermostable and salt-tolerant monomers. FILREW 23 boasts the advantages of superior shear resistance, salt resistance, imperviousness to high valent ions and thermal stability over conventional polymers.
Lubricants
Enhance lubrication between the drill string and the wellbore, reducing torque and drag, especially in directional and extended-reach wells.
EP LUB
A highly effective lubricant for various drilling fluid systems. It can effectively reduce the friction coefficient of the drilling tool and the torque force of the plate. It can also prevent the drilling fluid from sticking. EP LUB is stable, convenient, eco-friendly and harmless to human body.
MET-LU
A low-fluorescence extreme pressure/anti-wear (EP/AW) lubricant. It is designed to reduce the friction coefficient of mud cake, improve the anti-wear performance of drilling fluid, prevent drill pipe sticking, improve wellbore wall stability and ensure downhole safety. MET-LU helps prevent excessive torque, reduce friction and wear between drilling tool, casing and wellbore wall. Its minimal impact on the formation makes it beneficial to mud logging and post-production operations, suitable for extended reach and horizontal wells.
Organic Soil
Improve filter cake quality and enhance lubricity while supporting eco-friendly drilling operations in sensitive environments.
DENZEL HY
An organic soil made up of a complex blend of inorganic minerals and organic compounds. It is an indispensable component of oil-based drilling fluids, increasing both the viscosity and shear force as well as reducing the filtration loss of the system. DENZEL HY forms gels in various organic solvents, oils and liquid resins. It also has good thickening, lubricity and thixotropy properties, as well as suspension and high-temperature stability. This allows DENZEL HY to have a wide range of applications in oil drilling, coatings, metallurgy, aviation and chemical fiber.
Oxygen Scavengers
Protect metal surfaces and drilling fluid components from oxidation and corrosion by effectively removing dissolved oxygen.
Plugging Agents
Seal microfractures and porous zones in the formation, minimizing fluid invasion and supporting wellbore stability.
MAC PLUG
A wellbore sealing agent. Its fibrous, granular morphology provides effective plugging performance in clean water, brines and all types of drilling and completion fluid systems. This helps to greatly improve the strength of the borehole wall, increase formation pressure capacity, improve the equivalent circulation density (ECD) window of the formation, as well as provide good leakage control, plugging and anti-collapse performance. MAC PLUG can also control the penetration of drilling fluid into the formation, preventing any solids or fluid components from damaging the oil and gas reservoir.
Scale Inhibitors
Prevent the formation and deposition of scale from brine and produced water, ensuring smooth downhole operations.
Shale Inhibitors
Prevent shale swelling and dispersion to maintain borehole gauge and reduce wellbore instability in reactive formations.
SOL-HIB A
A clay hydration inhibitor. It prevents shale swelling by intercalating and reducing the space between clay platelets, making it difficult for water molecules to penetrate. It effectively inhibits the hydration of shale or gumbo clays, minimizing the possibility of bit balling.
Surfactants
Improve wetting, emulsification, and fluid penetration in the formation, enhancing fluid performance and cleanup.
SOFANOL 2000
A 100% active formulation of non-emulsifying, low surface tension surfactants for use as a stimulation surfactant to increase oil recovery. The SOFANOL 2000 concentrate is diluted with water or water plus winterizing agent prior to field use. The diluted product will typically achieve surface tensions of 26 – 29 mN/m and interfacial tensions of < 1 mN/m while optimizing formation wetting for higher oil recovery.
WETAG 11
A wetting agent used to oil-wet drill bits in non-aqueous drilling fluid systems. It helps improve the oil affinity performance of aggravating materials, the cutting performance of drill bits as well as the stability of the drilling fluid emulsion. Compared to conventional aromatic derivatives, WETAG 11 has better environmental performance, making it the preferred solution for the construction of synthetic-based mud systems.
Viscosifiers
Control fluid rheology and carry capacity of cuttings by increasing the viscosity of the drilling mud to desired specifications.
TAC RIC
A rheological modifier specifically formulated for oil-based drilling fluids. It can effectively improve the detritus carrying and suspension properties as well as increase the shear rate, shear thinning, viscosity and thixotropy properties of drilling fluids, without increasing the solid phase content of the system. By increasing the yield point and gel strength, TAC RIC greatly improves the drill-cuttings suspension capabilities and hole- cleaning capabilities of the drilling fluid, without affecting the apparent viscosity and circulation pump pressure.
