Zinc-Calcium Bromide Liquid is often referred to as 54.5% zinc bromide and 19.5% calcium bromide.

Used for clear-brine workover, completion and fluids that require high density range of up to 2301 kg/m 3 (19.2 lb/gal). Being a high-density fluid, it can also be mixed with low-density brines to achieve specific density and crystallization point applications.

Application

• Possesses inhibition effect which helps prevent the hydration and migration of swelling clay – can be used as a packer
  
• Can be mixed with calcium chloride solution or calcium bromide solution to formulate and control the density and crystallization points for special application and winter use
